Former Raiderette
Chef Barbara Savage rarely leaves home without her sacred white apron, her sharpest knives, and the premise that cream, butter, and cheese is what really makes America great. Her Commitment to Excellence in cooking is deeply rooted in Caribbean and West Indies influences on her mother’s side of the family, capturing the down home flavors of the Deep South on her father’s side, while elevating taste buds to expect the unexpected.

From gourmet feasts, to satisfying temperamental palates at a family reunion, to tailgating spreads, her versatility and passion makes her the chef to watch and savor. On Fox TV’s MasterChef Season 7, Chef Barbara dished and plated for Wolfgang Puck and Gordon Ramsay – two of the best and/or more notorious celebrity chefs in the game. Her appearance on TV’s highly rated cooking competition earned her an apprenticeship with Celebrity Chef Bruce Kalman at Knead & Co. Pasta Bar/Union Restaurant.

Former Raiderette
In fact, as a former Raiderette: Footballs’ Fabulous Females®, topping Chef Barbara’s culinary bucket list is the desire to help feed the ravenous appetites of The Black Hole tailgaters at an Oakland Raiders home game. She knows there’ll be no holding back, and would definitely need to bring her A-plus chef skills along with her silver poms to OACC.
Entrepreneur
When Barbara steps out of the kitchen, she is a wildly successful entrepreneur building brands around eating smarter, living greener, and enjoying life. Best known for the 3-Minute Shower® line of luxury products as a healthy and affirming solution to our troubling water crises under her brand Body Conscience® and The Attainable Weight Loss Solution®, Barbara walks the talk as an answer to the alarming obesity rates that plague this country. She believes re-designing a body from the inside out will achieve attainable weight loss goals.
Between being a power chef, numerous accomplishments, and new business ventures on the horizon, Barbara has a very healthy appetite for volunteering (Red Cross Ambassadorship) and local government. Regarding life, the environment and her community, Barbara’s motto is: “You don’t have to do everything, you just have to do SOMETHING.” Every little bit helps.
Life Stylist
Barbara has lived near, far, and abroad…even settling in Denver Broncos’ territory (her other fave team when they’re NOT playing the Raiders), but LA is home base where she raises and feeds three teens, four cats, and one very large pup named Bella.
